Hi PGCE cohort! Lovely to meet some of you on Friday’s induction.
A bit about myself:
I currently teach as an AL at Chelsea on the Graphic Design Graduate Diploma course.
My own practice is driven by a synergy of humour and tragedy, inside and outside, sense and nonsense. Collage is at the root of these contrasts, and helps serve as both subject and method, shaping a language that celebrates chance encounters and unexpected connections. My work functions within the expanded study of print — the painterly gesture in conversation with a regurgitated image; re-formed, printed and displaced. Im interested in the layered forms through which we communicate and the ways in which we learn about the world and each other through this vibrant entanglement.
Im really excited to be starting my PGCE. I hope to emerge a more confidant teacher, and look forward to meeting, and connecting with more of the UAL community.
